Frameforge - WorkBench FreeCAD for project tracking

For the design of bike trailers, I use FreeCAD, since version 1.0, it has become a very powerful tool!

There is one subject that is not dealt with by freecad, it is file management.

I started thinking about Plume: a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) (I think..)

The idea is to use two existing tools, subversion and invetrance, to integrate them into a nice freecad module to make it a tool:

• collaborative work (ability to work several on the same project)
• versioning
• branches

• tags and releases

• and version generation and export automation

• and especially to integrate it into an inventory system.

Even at my (little) scale, I'm tired of counting screws by hand ;)
